Greek chicken kebobs- An easy to make chicken skewer which will be best in your parties as an appetizer or starter. Tender juicy chicken marinated with olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, allspice, paprika and seasonings , skewered with chunks of onions and grilled in a barbecue is quite tempting and appetizing. Healthy ingredients and easy preparation makes this dish unique.
Clean the chicken, trim it and cut it into dices.
Peel the onion and cut it into big dices.
Combine together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon rind, garlic, all dry herbs and spices, salt and parsley.
Marinate the chicken and onion cubes in this and keep refrigerated for one hour.
Skewer the chicken and onion alternatively in a bamboo skewer.
Brush the hot grill with little oil, pace the skewers in the grill and cook all sides, basting with oil to avoid burning.
Remove from the grill and arrange in a platter.
Serve hot with pita bread, sliced cucumber, tomatoes, Hummus or any relishes.
