Molten chocolate cake- A classy dessert with dark chocolate which will capture any one's attention very fast. Baked perfectly this oozing out chocolate cake is everyone's favorite from last century.
Its believed that Molten chocolate cake was originated in Newyork city , USA. When Chef Jean Georges accidently pulled out a rich chocolate cake from the oven before it bakes fully. He found that the central part was semi solid and when it cuts open the chocolate starts flowing out and it was something un usual. Tasting better, rich and creamy this dessert soon becomes one of the top selling dessert in high end restaurants in United states.
There was a debate still goes that this dessert was existed much before in France and it was invented by French chef Michel Bras in Paris. Lets continue the debate about the ownership with a solid opinion that Molten chocolate cake is some thing phenomenal.
Melt the butter and chocolate over a double boiler.
Whisk the eggs, egg yolk, sugar and salt till fluffy.
Whisk the chocolate into smooth and creamy and fold into the egg mixture slowly along with flour. Fold gently.
Grease ramekin mould and dust it with flour. Pour the mixture into this mould and bake it in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes at 230 degree Celsius until the sides are firm and centre is soft.
Remove from the oven, cool it and de-mould.
Serve warm with whipping cream.
