Crab cake- The delicate sweet flakes of crab mixed with seasoning and fresh breads, pan fried to perfection is a delicious recipe from the State of Virgina,USA. Many states has their own variation to make crab cakes and this recipe is a simple and quick one and favorite among Americans. Virginia is a peaceful and beautiful state near to the capital Washington DC and I stayed there for two years. This is a rich tribute to the State which given me bread and shelter in those time and I still cherish those days.
Drain the crab meat well. Flake it if its big chunks. Mix gently with all ingredients except bread and oil. Crumb Cut the sides of the bread and make crumbs. Mix into the crab.Don't mash it as the crab flakes has to be visible. Divide into ten balls and flatten slightly in between the palms.
Heat oil in a flat grill, place the crab cakes on it and fry both sides till golden brown in color. Remove and arrange in a platter.
Serve hot with mustard mayo sauce.( Mix mayonnaise with mustard, lemon juice, seasoning and mix well)
