Brownie- This short name without much intricacies itself will drool us. The rich dessert with dark chocolate and butter is as simpler the name. Well goes with scoop of vanilla Icecream , the brownie can be served warm will be awesome and people will crave for it. Its believed that Chocolate brownie was originated at Chicago in 19th century. The owner of Palmer house hotel Mr.Palmer was asked by his wife to make some simpler cake like dessert which can fix into the packed lunch for the ladies who attending the World's Colombian exposition. One of his chef had made a bar cookie with chocolate, walnuts etc and it was an instant hit . Later on the Brownie appeared in the Palmer house menu as a house specialty dessert and rest is history.
The parties without brownie was unthinkable in Europe and America once , now it still holds the charm as a classic and simple dessert which will withhold the sweet finish after a sumptuous meal.

Melt butter in a sauce pan, slowly mix in the chocolate and melts. Remove from the fire and keep aside.
Whisk eggs and sugar till fluffy.
Mix into the chocolate sauce well.

Sieve the flour and baking powder together. Chop the walnuts and mix with the flour and fold into the chocolate mixture gently.

Bake it in a pre heated oven at 180 degree celcius for 30-40 min.
Remove once done.
Serve warm with vanilla icecream and chocolate sauce.
